Dog Fouling in Y Felinheli!

21.01.2021

Dog poo is being thrown in trees, bushes, left on footpaths and at the side of our roads.

The level of dog fouling has been on the rise during the pandemic. We are very lucky to have so many wonderful footpaths on our doorstep and there really is no excuse for this continued lack of care and thoughtfulness for the well-being of others.
Failing to clean up dog dirt is an offence and while most dog owners behave in a responsible manner, we are looking to take a zero tolerance approach to those who break the law. Dog dirt presents a risk to public health which can lead

to illness and even blindness.

We urge all dog owner to keep your dogs on a lead and PICK UP any dog's mess and dispose of it correctly. There are dog bins located all around the village. Please see the map for their location. It is not possible for us to have any more bins as we have more than many other villages in Gwynedd.

If a bin is full or damaged, please contacted the council and report this issue either through our website or complain directly to Gwynedd Council via their Website or App: App Store/ Google Play

Panad a Chân

17.01.2021

A message to the people of Felinheli from Eve Goodman

I am running online meet-ups with a musical theme for the elderly members of our community. It's completely free and no musical experience is needed. I'll be a friendly face to chat to and share tales with, and with your blessing I'll use our interactions as inspiration for folk songs. Please share with any older residents in the village who would benefit from a bit of inspiration and light heartedness in these trying times!

To register your intrest in an intitial online meet-up, leave your name and number with the village shop or send me an email: evesarahgoodman@gmail.com
